LMA Lessons During COVID-19

While our students won’t be wearing their masks all day at LMA, they will during lessons or (at least entering and leaving the building). Voice, brass, and woodwind instruments will not be required to wear masks during lessons for obvious reasons.  We have installed clear plastic curtains between the students and the instructors, have sanitizer in every room, students are required to wash their hands with soap before their lesson, and social distancing will be practiced. Teachers will be masked (except when demonstrating voice, brass or woodwind). Parents and siblings are asked to wait in their cars until the teacher texts for the student to come up. Waiting rooms are closed until further notice. Only one student per studio at this time–no group lessons or multi-students, duets, etc. We will continue to offer online lessons as well for those who prefer, and we are accepting new students for both online and in studio lessons! Many schools are discontinuing music programs due to group settings, so LMA is even more vital to your child for music education at this time. We are glad to be here to serve the community. Come make music with us!

About Us

Here at Loveland Music Academy we are proud to offer private lessons for guitar, piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, percussion, voice and acting with some of the most accomplished music educators in the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Located across from Tano’s Bistro in the historic district of downtown Loveland, LMA provides students with a solid musical education and lessons tailored to each student’s interests and goals.

In 2005 Linda Bergholz and Aaron O’Keefe recognized the need for quality instruction based on the individual student and the need for a music academy in the Loveland area. After several years of research and planning, in June 2007, Linda Bergholz and Aaron O’Keefe formed Loveland Music Academy Inc. Five years later LMA boasts a 5000 square foot facility, 26 instructors and over 600 students.

Testimonials

Our son Cooper has thoroughly enjoyed his drum instruction over the past two years. We have been amazed at his level of progress.

Marea & Clark Johnson

We are so grateful for your lessons at Loveland Music Academy. Our daughter had taken lessons for 3 years from another instructor and did not enjoy it. You really make her guitar lessons fun for her. She learns songs she knows and loves. You have a great way of motivating her and we are so proud to see her progress.

John & Suzanne Kennedy

We love how you uplift your students by giving them lots of confidence in their musical ability! Teaching music is not just a job for you, it is your passion and you really pass that passion on to your students. Thanks for all the great work you do with these kids.”
