Mari Wildenhaus is a pianist and harpsichordist, and active as a performer, accompanist, and teacher. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a MM in harpsichord performance and a BM in piano performance. Although Mari especially enjoys teaching intermediate and advanced students, she has enjoyed teaching all ages and levels for over eight years. Additionally, she has experience teaching music history, theory, ear training, and music appreciation courses. Her goal is to encourage and develop the creative spirit and love for music in her students by creating an enjoyable and productive environment. In her own playing, she draws inspiration from pianists Keith Jarrett and Glenn Gould, the music of Alexandr Scriabin, and artists Alexander McQueen and Vincent Van Gogh.
